After completing her Diploma at the White House School of Interior Design in 1976, Sarah Wormald shifted her focus onto Fine Art. In 2002 she trained under Ada Kennedy and Belinda Plimsol, taking up a keen interest in pastels as a medium. In 2007 she moved on to oils, training under Lesley Charnock and Natalie Hirschman.
Sarahs work is largely informed by her family life and in particular, the little snippets or moments in time captured in the flurry of family vacations and time spent with her daughter who resides in New York. Street scenes and city lights are also sources of much of her inspiration.
